Iwamura, Gifu

Iwamura was a town located in the former Ena District, Gifu, Japan. On October 25 ,2004 the town merged with three other towns and a village from the district into the expanded city of Ena, Gifu and no longer exists as an independent municipality. Iwamura Castle is located in Iwamura. As of 2003, the town had an estimated population of 5,372 and a density of 156.34 persons per km². The total area was 34.36 km². (more)
