Our 7 Year old playing Mozart Sonata in B Flat Major K333 Allegro on May 18, 2006 in his school's annual International Night. The crowd of students and their families are rather loud and excited, so there is excessive background noise. To counter this, a wireless Sennheiser Lav mike was used. Recorded in HD 1080i as *.m2t file. Renamed as *.mpg file for google video. Google's online player has a "original size" restriction to 320x180 for widescreen MPEG files. So even as a 1920x1080 (1080i) file was uploaded to Google, it only allows for 320x180 playback on screen. This Google reduced version of the 1080i original does appear to look a tad sharper and better color than the 480i version. What is BETTER is when this 1080i file is "downloaded" onto your hard drive and played back using Google's Video Player. When this 1080i file is stretched using the Google Player, it's not the original 1920x1080, but it's pretty sharp. When downloaded and viewed this way, it's superior to the 480i version of the same program. Please give that a try. Paul Chiu
