These 3 videos were taken from one of the best days I've ever had whilst visiting planet Earth. If I were Ferris Builer this would indeed have been my day off - and watching these guys breakdance would have been the highlight. When ever Im feeling like the world is on my shoulders and there's nothing good going on in my life, I'll always have this day to look back on fondly. I had just finished spending time watching SkateLisa and her disco roller skaters when I then happen do stumble upon these guys further inside Hyde Park. It was amazing! For starters the trumpet sounds you hear accompaniying the hip-hop beats are LIVE. These guys were together breaking, poppin, and freestyling away whilst a respectful public appreciated what was going on before them. Nobody was harassing anyone for 'spare change' or to 'donate' to the performance. It was totally organic and un-scripted. I really wish I knew who the hell this group of guys are. Do they come to the park regularly like SkateLisa to hang out and perform? I wonder how many years they practiced to become this good? If anyone knows anything about who these performers are, please mail me! As a young man I loved re watching an 80's film called 'Breakdance' (aka Breakin). My favourite character was Turbo.
