Sad day for Ana Ivanović at Zurich, for she lost her second round match against Tatiana Golovin... This is what she later wrote in her online diary: "I wanted so much to do well. I actually think I wanted it too much. I was over-motivated. Stepping onto the court, I felt very nervous, because I was putting too much pressure on myself. The tournament means a lot to me, because it is like my home tournament, and I had had such good preparation for it. I was playing very well in practice, so I had high expectations from myself. I also knew that all of the world's top players were there -- at least the four seeds -- and this just added to my motivation. I could not relax. To be honest, I was thinking too far ahead. I didn't follow the golden rule of taking it one match at a time, and it worked out terribly! But at the same time, I must say that Golovin played extremely well. I have to learn from this experience. I feel like I made great progress this year, but I am still learning to be one of the top players. I have to be patient and take it step by step. Now I have two weeks to prepare for the Sony Ericsson Championships. I'm very much looking forward to going to Madrid. I always enjoy visiting Spain, and this is obviously a huge tournament.
