Scott Davis (born January 29, 1972 in Great Falls, Montana) is a two-time U.S. Figure Skating Championships gold medalist. After winning his first national title in 1993, he defeated 1988 Olympic gold medalist Brian Boitano to win the 1994 title. In the years following, Davis suffered from vertigo and had problems with his jump consistency. Although he continued to compete until the 1998 season, after 1995 he never again qualified for a World or Olympic team. After turning professional, he appeared in an ice show production of the musical Grease.
Known for his extraordinary spinning ability, Davis was coached by Kathy Casey in Colorado Springs and Galina Zmievskaya in Connecticut. He is currently studying medicine in Canada, where he and his wife live.
Davis is an ISU Technical Specialist. He was a technical specialist for the men's event at the 2006 World Figure Skating Championships.
Scott Davis (born August 27, 1962, in Santa Monica, California) is a former top-ranking professional tennis player. He reached a career high singles ranking of World No. 11 (in October, 1985) and doubles ranking of number two (in January 1991).
A 6'2" right-handed serve and volleyer, Davis played 14 years on the tour, earning $2,287,611 in prize money. He won 3 singles titles - the 1983 Maui, 1985 Tokyo Outdoor, and 1990 Auckland Grand Prix events - and 22 doubles titles. His biggest doubles title was the 1991 Australian Open, which he won partnering David Pate. Other big doubles wins included the 1990 Los Angeles, Indianapolis, and Paris Open, and 1993 Indianapolis Grand Prix events, all partnering Pate. He was also a men's doubles finalist at the 1991 US Open with Pate.
Since retiring from the tour in 1998, Davis has been active on the over-35 senior tour and as a private tennis coach.
Scott Davis (born April 22, 1979 in Bundaberg, Queensland) is an Australian professional road bicycle racer for UCI ProTour Team High Road.
He currently lives in Varese, Italy. He is also the brother of fellow cyclist, Allan Davis.
