Miguel A. Núñez, Jr. (born October 19 1964) is an American actor.
He was born in New York City to a Dominican father, and a Puerto Rican-American mother from North Carolina.
His first roles were small parts in movies such as Return of the Living Dead and Friday the 13th: A New Beginning. His first major starring role was that of Marcus Taylor on the CBS series Tour of Duty, where he was a main cast member for all three seasons of the show. He was later a star on the UPN tv show Sparks as well as in movies such as Juwanna Mann.
Used to work as a telemarketer for the L.A. Lakers.
Daughters Mia (b. 1995) and Micole (b. 1999).
Started out as a bit player in a few moderately successful horror films in the early to mid-'80s, but has since risen to more prominent roles in bigger-scale films, often starring with 'Eddie Murphy'. His first major starring role in Juwanna Mann (2002).
Had a fight scene with Mel Gibson (I) that was cut from Lethal Weapon (1987).
Is of Puerto Rican decent.
