Kevin Lee Pritchard (born July 17, 1967 in Bloomington, Indiana) is a retired American professional basketball player and current general manager with the Portland Trail Blazers. In this role, he has been credited with assembling a talented core of players, including Greg Oden, Jarrett Jack, Brandon Roy, LaMarcus Aldridge, and Travis Outlaw, and is known to use a system of statistical analysis in evaluating talent, a project supported by team owner Paul Allen.
During the final months of 2004-05 NBA season, Pritchard was named interim coach of the team after the firing of head coach Maurice Cheeks.
He holds the distinction of being the first player signed in the history of the Vancouver Grizzlies in 1995, although he was released before ever getting an opportunity to play a game for them.
Pritchard won an NCAA men's basketball championship in 1988 as a member of the Kansas Jayhawks basketball team. He also won an ABA championship with the Kansas City Knights in 2001. He also played in Italy for Pfizer Reggio Calabria in 1993-1994.
On March 29, 2007, he was named general manager of the Portland Trail Blazers.
