Donna Marie Christian-Christensen, formerly Donna Christian-Green (born September 19, 1945), is the non-voting Delegate from the United States Virgin Islands to the United States House of Representatives (109.gif" target="_blank">map).
Christian-Christensen was born in _Teaneck, New Jersey and attended St. Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Indiana and the George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. She was a physician, then served as medical director for the St. Croix Hospital in St. Croix, Virgin Islands. She was the commissioner of health for the Virgin Islands and a delegate to the Democratic National Conventions for the 1984, 1988, and 1992 elections.
She worked as a television journalist and then was elected as a Democrat to the House, serving from January 3, 1997, to the present.
She was featured on The Colbert Report's Better Know a Protectorate segment.
Despite the Virgin Inslands' choice of Barack Obama in the 2008 United States Presidential Primary, she has pledged her superdelegate vote to Hillary Clinton. http://www.hillaryclinton.com/news/release/view/?id=3318
