Bill Mondy is an actor known for numerous guest spots in film and television as well as an established voice-over actor. Bill Mondy began acting at a young age gaining him local recognition and ultimately a scholarship to the University of Illinois where he received his BFA with honors. He then earned a full acting scholarship to New York University Tisch School of the Arts, where he received his MFA. After graduation Bill spent a short time in New York City where he played leading roles off Broadway including Lanford Wilson’s Revival of THE RIMER’S OF ELDRICH. He was offered company membership in Washington DC’s internationally renowned Arena Stage where he performed leading roles in both classic and contemporary plays. With critical acclaim, he continued to perform leading roles in repertory theatres across the country. He worked on such classics as Shakespeare, Shaw and Moliere before moving to Los Angeles where he began his successful film and television career.
Bill has performed in over sixty film and television productions. His series television work includes guest star, recurring and leading roles on such shows as: SMALLVILLE, THE DEAD ZONE, SUPERNATURAL, BLADE: THE SERIES, and the critically acclaimed Canadian Series, TERMINAL CITY. He has appeared in many movies for television including, FLIGHT 93, THE SECRETS OF HIDDEN LAKE and MELTDOWN. He appeared in numerous feature films including CASE 39 with Rene Zellweger, MIRACLE with Kurt Russell and I-SPY with Owen Wilson and Eddie Murphy.
Along with his long standing success in film and television Bill is a renowned voice over actor where he has voiced national commercial campaigns for Gateway Computers, Intel, Fidelity Investments and Sears, to name a few. He has narrated programs for National Geographic, Life network and CBS and can be heard regularly on such animation series as JOHNNY TEST, TRANSFORMERS and the new series JIBBER JABBER.
Bill currently resides in Vancouver, British Columbia and Los Angeles, California.
