Mark "Bill" Bailey (born 24 February 1964, Bath, Somerset) is an English comedian, actor, and musician known for appearing on Never Mind the Buzzcocks, QI, Have I Got News for You, and Black Books as well as his stand up comedy. He is a self proclaimed "confused hippy" known for his thin goatee and skullet hairstyle.
Bailey was listed by The Observer as one of the 50 funniest acts in British comedy in 2003, and in 2007 he was voted number seven on Channel 4's hundred greatest stand-ups.
William F. Bailey (April 12, 1888 – November 2, 1926) was an American left-handed pitcher in Major League Baseball. He played for the St. Louis Browns (1907-12), Baltimore Terrapins (1914-15), Chicago Whales (1915), Detroit Tigers (1918), and St. Louis Cardinals (1921-22). He had a creer record of 38-76 with a 3.57 ERA.
Harry Lewis "Bill" Bailey (November 19 1881 in Shawnee, Ohio; died October 27 1967 in Seattle, Washington) was an outfielder in Major League Baseball.
Bill Bailey (December 8, 1912) – (December 12, 1978),was an African American tap dancer, credited for inventing the dance known as the Moonwalk, although he referred to it as the "Backslide". He was also in the well known black and white film, Cabin In the Sky, starring Lena Horne. Bill Bailey was married to Pernell Bailey, and had 9 children, as well as many grandchildren.
