Aaron Himelstein (born October 10, 1985) is an American actor who is perhaps best known for playing a younger version of Austin Powers in Austin Powers in Goldmember and Friedman, Luke Girardi's best friend, in Joan of Arcadia. He also wrote, directed and edited the short film, Sugar Mountain.
He has made guest appearances in numerous different series such as Cupid, Boston Public, North Shore and House and appeared in the film High Fidelity.
He is also a close friend of Joan of Arcadia stars Michael Welch and Chris Marquette. He and Welch had known each other for several years but they did not become good friends until the series began in 2003.
He has appeared in episodes of two different series in which he played a high school student where the school principal was an African-American man named was Steven: "Boston Public" (2000) and "Joan of Arcadia" (2003).
After his "Joan of Arcadia" (2003) character (Friedman) was introduced in the sixth episode of that series, he appeared in every subsequent episode of the series except for seven.
He is a very close friend of "Joan of Arcadia" (2003) stars Michael Welch (I) and Chris Marquette. He had known Welch since 1997 but they did not become good friends until the series began in 2003.
At the age of 18, he wrote, directed and edited the short film, Sugar Mountain (2005). He wrote and directed his first short film when he was 13-years-old.
He studied acting at the Piven Theater Workshop in Evanston, Illinois.
He is managed by Flutie Entertainment and represented by the Endeavor Agency.

He is currently producing a feature length film which he also co-wrote, entitled "To the Raccoon."
